A Designer jailed on charges of raping four women.
He should have been in the news for the pret collection he was planning to launch and bringing his label to India. Instead, Anand Jon, the celebrated fashion designer of Indian origin who is currently based in the US, is cooling his heels in the jail.
Designer to Bruce Springsteen, Paris Hilton and Janet Jackson has been in jail since March 6 when the New York Police said he raped three people.

USA Today reports that Jon was arrested at his Beverly Hills apartment after a woman accused him of rape. "Subsequently, additional evidence led us to other victims," said Lt. Mitch McCann, a spokesman for the Beverly Hills Police Department, which is investigating the case.
The arrest has caused Anand, who has dressed Jessica Alba, Bruce Springsteen and Michelle Rodriguez in the past, to cancel his March 20 show at the LA Fashion Week. According to the felony complaint, Anand allegedly committed a variety of horrific acts on four separate victims between October 2004 and March 5, 2007.
This charge comes with two counts of forcible rape, and Anand is also facing charges of "sexual battery by restraint, attempted forcible oral copulation and two counts of committing a lewd act upon a child".

Anand, 30, who is known to hang out with the likes of Paris Hilton, Paula Abdul and Donald Trump's children, is reported to have used an accomplice during the incidents. The designer will appear in court on April 4. Bail has been set at $1,365,000.
LA Times quotes Jon's lawyer Ronald Richards as saying that all of the charges are lies made up by models who don't think they got enough work from the designer.
"In these cases, what is going on here is these girls fly in for model jobs after months of dialogue filled with flirtation, they have sexual interaction and if he doesn't put them in the show...then some time later they claim they had unwanted sex."
